Designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools. Develops and designs user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements. Contributes to the design group's efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization's online offerings. Designs the website to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to external communications.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the workflow requirements for business operation efficiencies, and work with management to develop/update workflows as the business processes evolve

  • Develop, execute, and document procedures and standards adhering to SharePoint and client best practices

  • Create documentation for any function performed under any competency as directed

  • Plan and design improvements to SharePoint performance as directed

  • Recognize, develop, and deliver necessary improvements to process and services

  • Working knowledge of ITIL, and service management best practices

  • Provide detailed architecture analysis and design, and direction on development activities

  • Develop workflows in SharePoint to help execute business processes

  • Create and manage new SharePoint pages

  • Create, leverage and manage content types, site columns, page layouts, lookups and templates for re-use in sites

  • Monitor Site Collection activity and utilization, and establish governance rules regarding data retention

  • Manage file size limits and site quotas

  • Manage usage confirmation settings

  • Work as part of a team, as well as independently, with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and deadlines

  • Perform other tasks as required by OSC and the Governement¬† contracting office

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Must have at least 8 yrs of SharePoint experience

  • Must have SharePoint Certification

  • Must be able to receive or maintain a Clearance

  • Must have one or more Microsoft Certification, MCPD, MCSE or MCSD
