SharePoint Systems Administrator

Location:Ft. Belvoir, Virginia

As a SharePoint Systems Administrator, the individual will work with a team to provide expert support in the managing of SharePoint systems and sites including administrative support, updating and creating sites, lists/libraries, workflows and security such as user access and permissions. In this role, the Administrator will implement system improvements to support the organization's strategies and goals.

This is a five (5) month contract from mid-March 2020 - August 2020.


  • Demonstrates technical expertise when supporting and managing various versions of SharePoint
  • Ability and willingness to understand customers' business and the value of technology on the business
  • Customer-facing role and initiates communication with client project stakeholders to drive transparency
  • Prioritizes and maintains commitments and delivery dates for multiple projects and customers simultaneously
  • As the client's trusted adviser, provide guidance and recommendations with the best interest of client in mind
  • Ensures quality of work by testing and validating his or her own work prior to customer delivery
  • Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience

  • Must have previous SharePoint experience ideally within the DoD
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 8570 compliant (per DoD and DISA requirements)
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016
  • Must have experience conducting patching and working with server maintenance
  • Must have a current Security + Certification
  • Must have and be able to maintain a fully adjudicated Secret clearance or higher
  • SharePoint certifications is a plus (MCSA or MCSE)
