As a SharePoint Developer, the individual will solve problems with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. In this role, the Developer will create new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements. This position will also design user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements to support the organization's strategies and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools
  • Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements
  • Configures SharePoint systems to specified requirements
  • Develops new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#
  • Extends SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies
  • Reviews website interface and software stability
  • Troubleshooting software issues and updates SharePoint applications
  • Provides systems training to staff 
  • Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience

  • Must have and maintain a Security Clearance
  • BA/BS Degree required
  • Experience with developing in SharePoint 2013, 2016, or higher, including .Net platform
  • Experience with developing in JavaScript
  • Ability to develop or troubleshoot custom workflows in SharePoint or compatible applications, including InfoPath

Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience

  • Experience with developing in C#
  • Experience with working in a DoD or Federal Government environment
  • Knowledge of the knowledge management field
  • DoD 8570 Compliance Certification and SharePoint certifications
  • MA/MS degree preferred
